I've always been a bit intrigued about 6-string basses, so it might be cool to give this one a try.

I'm pretty sure that I'll pick up one of these when they hit the market:

Wouldn't the aluminum eventually form a patina? The feel of that stuff is horrible on your skin. Plus it can get black and nasty. Pass.
