It's better to burn out than to fade away.

But where exactly festering for years in a cesspool of filth, obscenity and inanity falls into that spectrum; I'm not sure.

    So...

In the end all I can say is "."

There was one night a few years ago that Jimmy was in town and there was a chance that both of them were going to show up at my gig. I requested that the club encase the stage with bullet proof glass (the kind with chicken wire embedded in it) but it was all for naught, Sad Navigator showed and Jimmy did not.

The "Jimmy James thing" is perhaps the stupidest thing I've ever been involved in. It's a case of two very similar people with totally divergent tastes/sensibilities getting on crossways with each other.

Could have been the matter/anti-matter explosion of unspeakable power type situation. I have friends who argue like JJ and SN, and they get along fine and seem to enjoy each other's company. I guess some people like to argue.

I tried to tell 'em that server rack was mounted all crooked.

Now all of the data bits have piled up in the back corners (leaving the Jimmy James chip buried).

It would be awesome if they came back with no OJ, no Guitar Jam, no Acoustic Guitars, and just one "Guitar" forum.

They should also consolidate the recording forums and get rid of the songwriting forum.

If they brought it down to one forum don't you think it would kill the appeal for a bunch of folks? EG, amps, effects all seem to have "native populations" that never venture into the other forums....might not "play well with others" either....OJ they can keep

That would kind of suck I think, you'd have 1/3 completely immature poop/pee/fart fans, 1/3 uber serious "I won't play a guitar that costs less than $4,500" guys and 1/3 of whatever the hell we are.

It might. Would I care? Probably not. I'm not interested in what ChuckyB thinks about national health care, et cetera.

Considering the fact that Chuckyb went to college for 23 years to learn about it you should be interested.

We started that way and divided the forumz at the behest of the members.
