I'm assuming the back and side are laminate since they don't say solid?

It still looks like a pretty nice nylon string guitar. It looks a lot like a Manuel Rodriguez classical I used to have, and that was a very nice guitar!

Cutaways on nylon-strings are a deal-breaker for me.

    Ditto for the nut width.

That, and I find the instrument kinda unattractive, anyway.

I have never spent much time with a nylon string, but thats a beaut.

It's a classical designed for non-classical players. The usual 2" nut would drive most non-classical players nutso.

My last custom acoustic (steel string) had a wider than usual neck for fingerstyle playing, but not classical width...

I'd exempt gypsy jazz guitars and archtops, but I'm in general agreement with you.

Though I'd really like a Lowden.

You know, to take this further into the land of the highly opinionated...

I can't think of more than a handful of guitar players who aren't associated with nylon-strings but still manage to get a great sound out of them.

Only problem is the non-Henna models have spruce tops, not Cedar. I don't mind the henna design myself, but if there was another option I'd probably go that route.

I have always wanted to scribble on one of my guitar tops though... I have a friend who has on one of his satin finished ones and I've always liked that look for more hippie-folk type of music.

That guitar would look great on a Reba McEntire, or someone similar.

That said, are you repping some kind of wiccan chick guitar company? I think you might be. This one even has the name of a douche manufacturer embedded in the model name: the Midsummer Night's Eve.

Actually this is kind of an interesting group of people who are Luna guitars featured artists. That guy, Marty Casey, from RockStar INXS is in there, as is some guitarist for Kid Rock. Interesting.

They should put your picture up. You're a good looking guy, and they seem to need more guys.

That makes sense. I just find the website kind of amusing. It's really unlike most guitar manufacturer websites.

Are you going to get to meet Yvonne de Villiers? She seems pretty tasty.

    Nylon or Steel sting?

I used to own a Lowden O-10 (cedar/mahagony) non-cutaway steel string. I adored that guitar, but had to sell it to finish paying for my last custom acoustic I bought. George (Lowden) makes wonderful guitars. I've been looking for another O-10 to purchase, but the prices on the few for sale have gone through the roof.

    Steel-string.

My classical is a David Rubio, so I'm pretty much set in that dept.

I loved my Luna Muse 6-string. Sadly, all their 12-strings have electronics and cutaways, which are deal-breakers for me. Nice company, though.
