never liked.
I was a huge Heart fan for a good number of years. IMHO Ann Wilson is the best female rock singer of all time - and was a very hot looker in her younger years. I used to have my wall plastered with numerous Heart posters.
My favorite Heart song....very hard to say. They had a lot of good tunes, but they were at the creative peak back when Roger Fisher was the lead player/writer. After he quit the writing went downhill and they got very predictable and processed sounding, but still had a good number of great songs just do to the talent in the band.
So for my favorite Heart tune I will reach back to the first release....back when Ann was a babe and Nancy had no chest. Back when they sounded like no other band.....
Magic Man...

Anything but that stupid song they played on the radio forever, about the one night stand in the hotel room. Oh lord I can't think of what it was, but it drove me crazy. The corniest lyrics ever written, and that's saying something when you consider that Poison existed as a band.
I know this is going to bring out the mushter in me, but I really like "Alone".
Never listened to them much.
I'm pretty sick of Barracuda though (no thanks to Guitar Hero).

It's kind of funny - that song was one of their bigger hits. And yet the band itself hated the song. The song was actually written for Don Henley to perform, and he turned it down flat out. So the label literally forced Heart to record the song and release it as a single or they would not release the CD it was on. That was during one of Heart's down commercial times (CDs not selling well) and the single did help revive their career (again), but they still hated the song. They did a great rearrangement of the single for their 'The Road Home' live acoustic CD release. That is actually a great live album. Ann does a incredible job on the old Nazareth single 'Love Hurts'....

I'm not a fan of Heart in the least - I'm not averse to them, but I'd never listen to them if I was the one working the dial or making the playlist or whatever.
That said, I really love the work that Nancy Wilson did for Almost Famous. She gets to be my 2nd favorite Nancy Wilson in music history just for that.
Dog and Butterfly is an awesome song. So is Magic Man.![]()
She's relatively hot for a 72-year-old, I guess.
