I think it looks like a pile of throw-up.
I am all for quilted tops, even on an LP, it would be ok. But to have whole helluva lot of it in one place is kind of overdoing it, cha think ?
Actually, my biggest beef with it is the slanted pickup.
Straighten up the bridge pickup, add a neck pickup and a tone control, and I'm all over it.
Adding the neck pickup would even eliminate that big expanse of quilty stuff between the bridge pickup and the fretboard.![]()
