Looks cooler than the Porsche Cayenne, although both unclean abominations in my sight.

It's a type of design common in European cars. It's a 2+2 design with a hatchback sort of thing. It's is basically a more practical sports car. That's looks to be a 612 scagelletti from what I can see. Mercedes also makes a "shooting brake" design.

Ummm ok, it is actually more comparable to a Porsche Panamara. I'm not sure what unclean means but I assume it's some sort of environmental bitch. To that I would say you should do some more research on these types of cars and you would find out the due to the air scrubbing systems in the Porsche 911 the air coming out of the tailpipe is actually cleaner than the ambient air on a typical day in Los Angles.

Yeah, but what is the point of having a more "practical" sports car if you can't drive it in the wet? If it were mine, it would have a bike rack on it too.

When I had my 911's they never ever saw rain. Generally if you own a Ferrari, it's not your only car so way drive it in the rain?

That's why I had an alfa instead. Euro sport sedans and coupes (and now sportwagons) are much more practical for my life. But if I did have a Ferrari or a Porsche, I would drive the darned thing. I used to LOVE 911s as a kid! I don't know which model I would go for now. Not a Cayenne though. Not that it is an abomination, but if I was going to get a Porsche . . .

Yeah right?! park that thing in those undersized city parking slots next to the Ferrari, open the door with loud creaking noises so that it scares the living crap out of all those around, but carefully avoid touching anything. Wouldn't want to damage that truck on the ferrari!

The neighbor across the street from me in HS owned a Ferrari for about two years. I that period of time it was in the shop for over a year - usually waiting for parts. He finally got frustrated and sold it.

If I was going expensive euro, I would prefer something like this:

Or this for a more modern rig:

    Or even this:

I used to have the four cylinder version of this car, though not in rally racing trim with the big lights and all. I still think it would be fun to have a GTV6.

Eh? No, I didn't mean the emissions.

Not sure if I can find the right words, but there's something fundamentally out of whack about a station wagon or SUV version of what is typically known as a high end sports car brand.

I suppose it's a lucrative market, selling to people who are willing to shell out big bucks for the prestige of the name but still want something practical to ferry their kids to the soccer game or haul a load of groceries on the weekend. It's like buying a pair of Armani overalls.

All very true. Believe it or not Porsches SUV is their best seller. Go figure.

Lamborghini Urus SUV: First Images Leaked

Internet gets first look ahead of Beijing auto show.

By Joshua Condon Fri 10:51 AM

The official bow will take place next week at the Beijing auto show, but the first images of the upcoming Lamborghini SUV concept -- rumored to be called the Urus, and also rumored to be heading to production -- have hit the web. The sloping roofline is evocative of the Range Rover Evoque crossover, though this SUV will undoubtedly be a larger vehicle. Save for the Aventador-like front end, it's also, well ... not understated, exactly (it's a Lambo, after all) but not quite the kick-you-in-the-face crazy that one would have every right to expect from the result of throwing "Lamborghini" and "Sport Utility Vehicle" together.

Sam dissected the vehicle pretty comprehensively this morning, so I don't need to repeat what he said. Instead, click past the jump for a gallery of leaked images.
