    I assume he uses something like this.



    Saw one on the news a few weeks ago. Prices start at around $2k for a smaller printer, IIRC.

    An engineering friend of mine has been reading up on 3D printers so he could program a guitar template. He's going to be pissed.

    We have one of those at work. It's cool watching it do its thing. We use it for prototyping parts.

    Yeah, a 3D printer might have been used to make the body. But, I wonder how durable ti would be. IIRC, the resins used for 3D printing aren't super strong. Still, it looks kind of intersting.
