Default The Appleseed Cast - any fans?

My wife and I recently moved into a new neighborhood in DC, and we're right across the street from a cool live music venue. Well, we hadn't checked it out yet, so I was itching to give it a try on Saturday. We had never heard of any of the bands, but it was something different to do. We saw 4, and all 4 were good, but the headliner brought the . I guess they started in LA as an emo band, and then moved to KS and morphed into more of a post rock group, crossed with a little y'allternative/indie.

Kind of like if you combined Wilco and Explosions in the Sky...

If I weren't at work, I'd post some vids, but was just wondering if any Weiners were down with the Cast?

What venue is it? I grew up in the DC area and played a bunch of places there.

I just hit youtube to check them out. I like what I hear so far.

Must be fairly new. Although I haven't lived or gigged in DC since around 2002.

Probably is. Most of the businesses in my area popped up within the last 1-3 years. Nice place.
