    I so loved Pole Position.

When the Atari 5200 came out with their version of the game, it was exactly like the arcade version. It was quite stunning. Every time you played it, you felt like you were getting one over on "the man" by saving a quarter you'd have otherwise blown at the arcade.

I couldn't keep the cars on the track in pole position. Always ran through that damn sign. Haven't played a video game since.

+1 My favorite game. I never played the Atar homei version, but it was where I would always go if we went to an arcade. The POV aspect of the game was really cool to me.

The only time I ever saw those videos was at a movie theater. I never had a console game at home, so playing stuff like that was always at the arcade.
