Yeah, immunization takes a good 2-3 weeks or so to build up a decent antibody titer, and more like 6 weeks to develop a strong protective memory response.

i don't get the flu shot. yeah, maybe the real flu will kill me. but at least i'm not getting myself sick for no reason.
