i wish i could say, but i'm really just at the tip of the iceberg here. i have lots more listening to do before i can even formulate an opinion of Mr. Parker.
Except for some of his really "strung out" stuff there isn't much from him that I don't enjoy.

Ted Gioia's Jazz.com (which is now defunct, sadly) had this feature called "The Dozens" where a critic or guest musician would pick their 12 favorite tracks by a given artist.
Saxophonist Steve Coleman did an incredible job on Parker, with tons of analysis... he gave it about 500% more than he had to.

Thing about Parker is that he recorded the same songs plenty of times, and sometimes he was one of the greatest musicians in history, and sometimes he wasn't... so, you have to be pretty specific.

I saw "Bird" once...
My wheelhouse, he's not in it.
All his standard stuff, and the stuff that is generally well known. I love that period of jazz.
