Oooohh...lovely
I'd love to go there sometime.![]()
We had a great time, great food, tons of jaw dropping sights and a LOT of walking. I haven't sorted out all the pics yet, but here's a few.
The Trevi fountain
The Colosseum and an ice cream truck
A Church whose name evades me right now
Random handsome guy in the street
A Courtyard that caught our eye just off one of the main streets..I swear there were just offices around this!..Rome is full of sights like these around otherwise "ordinary" buildings.
If you guys get the chance to visit Rome..do so. It's fabulous. We saw a lot of great art too..the Villa Borghese that Flamencology mentioned is just exquisite..my favourite was actually a place called the Galleria Doria Pamphilj..a fantastic private collection with works from Caravaggio and Breughel being the highlight for me.

Oh, one from the Pantheon..it's really hard to get the scale of these across..just awesome. Those Romans certainly liked showing off.

Amazing. I would love to get to Italy. Wow, just really cool.
Everything looks so old.
Beautiful pics. I've never been outside of North America. I've only just been across the border to Canada, and we stopped off on the dutch side of St. Martin on a cruize we did about 7 or 8 years ago.
