they really only put out one album.

Johnny Rotten's delivery sounds deadpan to me. sometimes, i think it would be funny if Steven Wright was the singer instead.

Although, I could have easily said any of them. The Sex Pistols are what made me pick up the guitar in the first place.

My favorite Johnny Rotten stuff is the generic album he did with P.I.L. featuring Steve Vai...

... but I love the rawness of the Pistols.

One of my favorite things about this song is the way he sings the chorus....

    "Oh so PRETTY............... Vaaaaaay... cunt."

"Did 'e jus' say wha I thouh' 'e said?"

    "Nah... you'r jus' 'earin' things."

    "In everything... uniformity is undesirable.
Leaving something incomplete makes it interesting, and gives one the feeling that there is room for..."

    Anarchy in the UK.

It's my favourite rock song of all time, I sincerely don't think it can possibly be improved upon.

Nearly impossible to pick ONE favorite, but I'd probably go with Sub Mission or Pretty Vacant.

John Lydon talks about Sub Mission and Pretty Vacant in his book "No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs". Malcolm Mclaren came in with the original lyrics with references to S&M etc. Lydon thought it was just ridiculous, and changed them to be about a submarine mission. And the pronunciation of Vacant as "Vaaaayy-cunt" was deliberate so he could swear and still get played on the radio.
