Guitar Center Facepalm Time

Just relating a facepalm worthy Guitar Center Story. On Saturday April 30th, I went to the local GC to pick up a delivery of a pedal from another GC location, while there, I knew they had a used pedal I was interested in trying, Warm Mutation Phaser II. They have it listed for $109.99 with two other GCs listing one for $99.99. So I asked simply to price match... Told NO, we are not allowed to lower price until an item has been in the store > 120 days. Soooo, this came into their store Jan 4th, literally 5 days away and I am asking for $10 off and they couldn't manage that? Big sigh, facepalm....OK....

Id tell you to get the fk out with your nickel and dime bullshit over 10 bucks is what Id do if I worked there. Do you want it today or not? IF $10 is that damn crucial to you livelihood then order it from the other stores and and sit you butt down and wait MF.

Yep! I picked up the pedal that was sent there, got the hell out, and bought the pedal of interest
for 35 less on Reverb!

In my (limited) experience of buying guitars I find you get a better service at one off, privately owned places rather than big chains.
