Pets of Wein

My colleague took a beautiful picture of Kiira being the most Kiira ever at the office :)

I believe someone is expecting to be taken for a walk....like NOW!

We rescued this little guy Sunday afternoon. I broadcast the usual "found dog" posts on social media, NextDoor, PawBoost, etc...
He's super sweet and gets along with our pack. His excellent health and condition indicate he's lived in a caring home.

He might be microchipped if you haven't already taken it to a vet to check???

Gorgeous dog, his owners will be devastated if it's not been abandoned.

He has no chip and no owner came forward. We've decided to keep him, as he acts like he's lived here his whole life. He's not used to cats, but has learned not to get in their personal space after a few swats. He is an extremely affectionate snuggle buddy, full of playful energy. He definitely a party colored Pomeranian.

Awesome story @Tig

One of the cool things about getting a dog, I've found out, is that he inspires us to go places that are a little more off-road than what we used to do, and in slightly worse weather conditions as well. The missus and I have always done a fair bit of hiking, but here's yours truly with Monty way out in the woods, and it's pretty damp, cold, and quite foggy at times, but who cares:

This time last year Buddy was diagnosed with a bleeding spleen tumor. He was given 1-4 months to live. He was almost 14. We put him on a steroid and a Chinese herbal supplement. He didn’t look like he was going to make it to the end of the week. It took five days for the herbal supplement to show up in the mail. Within days of taking it, he was a new dog. He still has a zest for living, and we spoil him every day. His biggest medical problems now are atrophy and back pain. He will make it to ihis 15th.
