Headstocks are more functional than input jack location. They incorporate the break angle of the strings and determine tuning peg location which determines the angle of the strings right or left if the nut slot. Unless the jack location is in the way of your strumming or picking, it had nothing to do with playing the guitar or it’s ability to stay in tune. :tongue:

String angle behind the nut is less important than a poorly cut nut. Most people hate on headstocks because they don’t look like a Gibson or a Fender, not because of their functionality. :embarrassed:
