So I got myself a Weber

I used to have one of these Webers.

Now the only Weber I own is this...

So I got rather drunk watching the football yesterday. I was rudely awoken by the wife asking why dinner was taking forever.

A quick check highlighted an unforseen issue with the Weber: not putting coals on the bbq and lighting them will result in food not cooking

We phoned in a curry :thu:

Webers are a great timeless and excellent design. We stick to checkin, pork, and sausages, but my dad get's deep into the indirect heat cooking techniques and does full chickens and even turkeys on the Weber. He also does fish, ribs, and veggies on the grill. He's admittedly too impatient to do smoking, but you can do some in a Weber.

There are a few Weber dedicated cookbooks that are cool to peruse if you're feeling it.

Enjoy.

Also, can't go wrong with a good curry (be it homemade or ordered).

Picked up a couple prime strip steaks from the butcher yesterday that near wagyu level marbling that I'll be chucking on the weber in about 45 minutes.
