That is a way better question. IIRC Americans consume something like 90% of the worlds opiods. I hate taking the stuff even when I have to.

My daughter went to the doctor last week with a sore throat. The doctor looked at it and said, strep, but they needed to do a strep test in order to prescribe the antibiotic. It is freaking harder to get an antibiotic than and opioid these days.
