I played a show opening for The Blasters. Keith was the guitar player instead of Dave Alvin. Had some time to spend with them in the green room. He was a cool guy and really tore it up that night.

I played a show opening for The Blasters. Keith was the guitar player instead of Dave Alvin. Had some time to spend with them in the green room. He was a cool guy and really tore it up that night.
Keith is a great guy, great player and a great mentor. He was our Guitar Director when I attend MI. I attended his blues class 22+ and got some basics down but it was a long climb as I was a heavy rock/metal player. In 2012, I got a chance to jam with him at the MI reunion. That was such a treat as I was no longer just a rock player. He was already playing with the Blasters at this time.
