What games bring out the worst in you?

When I was a child my parents made me play card games, which I hated. Now I am a parent my children make me play card games, which I continue to hate.

That shit is, quite frankly, fucked up.

Trivial Pursuit. As an extraordinarily smart person, I revel in demonstrating my extensive knowledge and expertise in all areas. For some reason, people seem to find this off-putting.

Same.

That said, I had an uber-competitive uncle - my favourite uncle, actually, and he was killed suddenly this summer in a car accident - who loved all forms of competition, and had a tendency to read all of the cards in advance. Bastard.

Hockey even when I watch it now. My wife leaves the room generally though I have started to mellow out in my old age

Love scrabble, Risk takes too long, but I really get poised losing at games that are based entirely on luck, like Yatzee. I can take losing to a better skill set or strategy, but when you have someone rolling yatzee after yatzee and rubbing your fave in it. Grrrrrrrr.....
