I'm sure the test dummy crashing through the net was done to build up drama for the 2 hour long special that Fox is broadcasting. That this is reported on a Fox site is a coincidence I'm sure, because this is important news.
 
Great idea. These things are always worked out over and over again. Yes there is a risk the guy will become a stain on the ground but it's less than you think. He'll walk away and be famous for awhile and then no one will remember him. Someone else will take it even further and some idiot will try it without working it out ahead of time and get killed. But that's the way it always works.
