The first new Banshee of 2016... and it's a 2015 Sunset Limited! OK so we wanted to have this one done last year but we just didn't quite make it in time. That's ok, it was worth the wait! Featuring the most stunning Spanish Mahogany we've ever built a Banshee from, it's full of tight fiddle back flame, extremely rare for this wood. Gorgeous vintage inspired burst, 3 Roadhouse Pickups KT100's (think the best mix of a mini and a p90). We LOVE this guitar!

Banshee JR's we feel are the BEST sounding Banshee's. There's a pure magic in single pickup guitars and Banshee compounds this by not having any material removed at the neck transition. This Sonic Blue JR is a throwback to Banshee #3 that Doug Kauer built for Mrs. Kauer Guitars well before the business was started. Equipped with a Lollar Goldfoil in a soapbar mount, this Banshee is as capable of playing raunchy blues slide as it is standing in front of a crowd sunday morning. Because it's a soapbar mount, any p90 soapbar style pickup will fit this guitar. Did we mention it only weighs 6.1 lbs? Cause it does.

One of these days I'm going have to quick dicking around with these PRS guitars and replace them with a Kauer and a Schroder. :(
