What game console to get?

PS4! Unless most of his friends are on Xbox. I bought an Xbox One this time last year. It worked fine for a week and then started having all sorts of software issues and display problems. Returned it and got a PS4. Zero problems with it. Except that I have no time to play anything :(
 
I've always been a Playstation guy, but bought an Xbox this time, as two of my friends have Xboxes and play live fairly often.
 
If the kids want the Xbox then do it.
Grab a 1 TB version so you have plenty of space.

Then get Minecraft for the xbox 1, And another controller.

Then grab a little game called IDARB and play vs the kids. It's an awesome on the couch, have a blast bomberman style game.

I've got the Xbox 1 and the PS4 sitting here. The PS4 IS the more powerful system, but, we have more fun on the Xbox 1. To me that's all that matters.
Plus, they can send their games from the Xbox to a Win 10 pc, so they can play and you can still use the TV for something else.
