Do you mean the root or the sauce that supposedly contains the root? Most people seem to call horseradish sauce just "horseradish."

I like horseradish. Commercial horseradish sauces though vary from okay to awful.

I don't like it when you can barely taste the horseradish in a prepared sauce.

I'm a fan. Mom used to make it fresh and it really blew out your sinuses when she was grinding up a batch.

Me too. Unfortunately around here I think they cut most of the wasabi WITH Horseradish to make it cheaper.

More than likely, your wasabi is very finely ground horseradish with green food coloring.

It's great with beef. Just add some green coloring and it's great with sushi.

Yes. Food colouring is a critical ingredient in so many recipes.

Pork loin with horseradish.......and then some sauerkraut on the side.......HOLY SMOKES, Batman! Maybe some German Potato Salad and potato chips to round it out.....

Leftovers: Pork loin sammich with microwaved sauerkraut and some horseradish mustard, on a toasted bun = way more awesomer. With Chips.
