On the road!

I saw an MGB today that looked mint. Brown, with gold striping, pretty much like this example:

How were those MGB's? Probably not nearly as good a car as a Miata?

i had a 1972 MGB with the wire knock off wheels and the twin SU carbs. it wasn't a bad car, for a 70's british car. the clutches were weak as hell tho.
but they were fun to drive. the lucas electricals were the worst.

the one in the pic is prolly a 78,79,80

That's a brand new Uber Corvette he's following. I believe shenanigans were afoot.

Yup. That's a real AMG with a real Pep Boys Ricky Racer shopping cart handle wing bolted to the trunk.

well, with that wing.....the benz should do at least 250 mph.....i mean....isn't that what those wings do...make it go faster???

By itself, seeing a Tesla around here is not even remotely rare. In fact, I probably see 20 or more per day...

Seeing one with a rickety, poorly installed bike rack hang several feet off the rear bumper though...

I forgot to post this from last weekend. Parked by the roadside near the farm shop my daughter works at. Ferrari 599 I believe.

You guys across the pond have all kinds of nice cars everywhere. I saw tons when I was over there last year that I didn't have a chance to get a pic of.

The one I remember the most was when we took the bus from Acton Town (yes, we stayed at a 'Oh God! Never stay there' cheap hotel in Acton) to the Portabella Rd market. The bus was going thru a lower-middle class neighborhood of apartments, and there parked right on the main road, that the bus came within inches of, was an Aston Martin Vantage. Right in the middle of all the entry level Vauxhalls, Fords, Renaults and such.

Speaking of cars in England, when I was there in 2006 in London, I saw these very small, Smart Car on steroids-looking little 2-seaters everywhere. What were those things? They were 2-seaters that really did have a Smart Car look to them, but with muscle. Wide sporty tires, nice-looking rims, spoiler, etc.

Anyways, I didn't see even one of them last year, 2014. Crappy cars? They weren't a Smart Car but had that same kinda look to them.
