The Vireo model is Rhoney Guitars' take on the famous California classic, made with their own unique twists.

Aka "Teh Keefs" and built for the 2015 Winter NAMM show, this lovely Vireo standard features:

SPECS:
- Two-piece light weight African mahogany body
- One-piece set-in hard rock maple neck
- Indian rosewood fretboard with pearloid pill inlays
- 22 Jescar .047x.095" nickel silver frets
- Single-action vintage style truss rod (chosen for light weight)
- Hand cut and polished bone nut
- Gotoh open gear classic style tuners (much smoother and with better gear ratio than standard stamped Gotohs)
- Mastery M4 bridge with machined brass saddles

- Roadhouse Pickups Triple Crown neck pickup
- Roadhouse Pickups Especial Tele bridge pickup
- Black polished-edge pickguard
- Chrome Tele control plate with chrome dome knobs
- CTS and Switchcraft electronics components, Mallory capacitor
- Electrosocket jack cup
- Oversized strap buttons with black felt washers

Kind of looks like a melted tele. I guess it is OK looking, but it doesn't really excite me very much.
 
In the Rhoney world, there are ones I like a lot, and ones I dislike a lot. This one falls about in the middle.
 
Nothing special, but I like it. That neck joint though.....i don't know. Looks like it might not be super strong.
 
I like it actually. I saw it on the wall at NAMM if memory serves me right but I got stuck on playing something else and never picked it up.
 
I like the builders work in general, but this isn't doing it for me. The whole butterscotch Tele thing is very played out for me Right now, so yawn...
