Pretty much kinda like a German restaurant, with a lot more spices in the meal :embarrassed:

I had their veal paprikash, which is veal tips with large mushrooms and finely chopped onions/garlic/peppers, kinda like a goulash-flavored veal/mushroom stew, with a side of spaetzel.

I ordered the small portion, and along with the salad and fresh-baked bread, I couldn't eat it all. That's a lot of food :) I can't imagine how much food the regular portion comes with.

Would eat there again drool0

I was on a date eons ago and we went to a good Hungarian restaurant somewhere on the Eastside of Manhattan. Really good stuffed cabbage, not as sweet as the Jewish kind my grandma made.

Never, EVER order stuffed cabbage on a date. Ever.

My grandma used to make veal paprikash a couple of times a year and have the whole family over. Good memories.

There used top be a Hungarian restaurant around here and the food was awesome. They had a peasant bread (a fry bread) that came with the meals that was heavenly....
