Don't really care for the tone of the amp in the OP, but love the cream and blue tole!

Tried, tried, tried to love a Imperial, all the way back to when their used price was $800. Just couldn't, kinda shrill on the rhythm side, kinda harsh on the lead side, and really seemed to compress and amplify every mistake I made.

You can still find the used Mk. I's for ~$1200. I would prefer to buy a SFDR for that instead.

Friend of mine has a Toneking. The clean sound is great and the amp is very kind to pedals. As for the OD channel, his was more of a crunch chanel and not high gain. No matter anyways with all of the the different variety of pedals available.
