Is the root in B flat?
Actually in E. Its an F Melodic Minor scale played a half step higher than the root of an E7 chord to give you all of the alterations - Root, b9, #9, 3, #4, #5, m7. Bb is in the scale and can be considered the Tritone Substitution as well.
 
You need my Just Jazz Guitar magazines. Robert Conti does one transcription in which he gives you all five voices for the same tonic note in PASSING chords.
