The bridges are great, I personally don't think they add too much weight, but either way I think it's a huge improvement. Lets here more about the guitar....

I don't know, I've never seen a USA in person. I would assume your's would stomp on it. I can say, it's heaps better than an Epi, or Squire you could buy new today.

Seymour Duncan Mini Buckers neck and bridge
Eric Johnson single in the middle.
