Question: Why do so many people hate blue guitars?




I used to think blue guitars weren't for me, but an LPB tele (bought on a $299 "Fender Friday" deal in 2009) changed my mind!
 
Ok, I guess I was wrong. Just seemed like I'd noticed a lot of blue disparagement of late.
Maybe it was just folks bagging on the particular guitar and the color got mentioned or something.

Anyway, thanks for all the pics of the cool blue guitars. I love blue guitars, though I've never owned one.

Maybe next year's build...

I once had a metallic blue Aria Magna series guitar. Looked awesome but sounded like sh*t so I traded it for an Ibanex Roadstar II that looked like sh*t but sounded awesome. That's moved on as well now.

I could do with another blue guitar. And a red one. And a green one. And...
 
I like dark blue guitars with maple fretboards.

Not a big fan of light blue guitars, but I don't hate them either.

I just don't like the newer neck profiles Carvin uses :embarrassed:
 
I had one blue guitar which was in the 80's, an Ibanez Saber.

I have never really been a fan of a blue colored guitar. Can't really explain it...
