And I wouldn't expect something would use the name Futurecaster when it is two 60+ year old designs pasted together. I expect a future caster to look like a Teufell birdfish with advanced electronics computer interface capabilities, not a tele mixed with a Les Paul.

I didn't even realize it was used!

Goes exactly to my point. Probably 8k new, bought, looked at and never played. That's the reality of most of the really high end, expensive stuff. It's a shame when it's from my favorite builders (thorn in particular) but no real surprise.
