So I've been thinking about paella...

Partly because of the chorizo thread, partly because Mrs. Roach ordered some in a restaurant last week and it was meh.

Paella is fun to cook...

I should go to the special grocery early tomorrow morning and see what interesting stuff they might have that I could put in it.

Lobster tail?
Fresh fish?
Bunny rabbit meat, freshly butchered and still twitchin'?

They will have 3-5 kinds of chorizo to choose from, that's a given. :)

Never tried it with lobster tails before. They came out great, fully cooked but not too tough.
 
Looks great!

I need to get off my butt and head to the local tapas restaurant to try paella. I've never had it :embarrassed:
 
As good as the lobster was, I think I actually prefer "turf" paella over "surf." Next one will just be chicken and chorizo.
