I'm mainly an electric player, and even though you aimed that at acoustic players I think it applies to both...but it is surprising how a simple chord progression can take on many personalities by just altering your picking/strumming pattern...you're a good teacher Tom...

You described the sound of our band. . Because our drummer plays bongos and congas, much of the kick and snare sounds fall back into whatever chord groove I'm playing.
