Epi has a new line of acoustics that are designed for easy playing. They have slim necks (for an acoustic), jumbo frets, 18:1 tuners, and lubricated fretboards. They’re selling these as guitars that make it easy for acoustic beginners to build up their hands, but I like these as acoustic guitars for electric players. What makes me especially intrigued is that two of the four models have a 24.75" scale, which is very hard to find on acoustics. I don’t have the money for a Hummingbird, so I plan on picking one of these up.
