While I am sure a tenor guitar could add flavor to an ensemble, as a solo performer it is useless to me. Plus, I have a bias toward larger instruments.
 
I've been tempted to get one of those. They're really cool. I'm just not sure how well I'd adapt to the uber narrow necks. I've tried out a couple of tenor guitars, and the necks felt so narrow, that it felt like I was playing a broomstick. Still, it might be fun to at least give tenor guitaring a try, with this guitar. For all I know, after a week or two of playing, I might have no issues with the narrow neck.
