Always loved the Kinks, have a lot of ‘em on vinyl. Only saw them play once, early 80s. Best memory: they kicked into “Shakin All Over” and it was scorching, but after a few bars it was over because it was just a teaser. :D

I have mostly heard the stuff he did with Miles (which is amazing). Just bought Plus 4 on vinyl and hope to have a working turntable by the weekend so I can listen to it. He played with so many jazz greats and recorded dozens of his own albums over his long career, so this rabbit hole may keep...
