Vintage Computers, anyone into them? Interested in old MIDI with them also.

And I really kind of went down a rabbit hole and overdid it a little bit with some vintage computer stuff and also keyboard stuff. I’m going to see what works well for me and what I can use to piece together with the other pieces to get good decent working machine machines from various areas and...

OK awesome! I need to learn from you on some of this. I have a Roland real time ranger and one Boss drum machine and a bunch of other midi gear now that I want to learn how to control and use. In fact, at a local computer show, I’m trying to set up one of the little keyboards via Meet to an old...

Stumbled on an Atari 1040 Stem from 1985 for cheap with adapters for proper display on modern monitors you can actually get and some games. I really didn't know about Atari computers back then and was a Mac guy. Atari had it going on and even had built in MIDI. Just didn't win the OS and...

Guitarists, what’s your favorite drum machine?

Who knows, I will try this out, and maybe I will decide I like it just as well in the app. And then go ahead and sell it again. We just thought it would be fun to try. Plus, I like how it is slightly guitarist oriented.

Guitarists, what’s your favorite drum machine?

I have had one of those but was not in love with it. I kinda prefer being able to program what I want. I ordered this unit. I may or may not sell the Trio+

Guitarists, what’s your favorite drum machine?

Awakening this from the dead. I am looking at recapped Boss DR5 that is aimed at Guitarists. I think having something physical and not just trying to do it with a mouse in my logic pro or GarageBand might be better.

Question: HEAT CHECK - Would I like to post a thread to gauge the interest in possibly maybe having a "Smurfstock" get-together in Austin in May (or September)?

Would totally be fun. Will be hard if not impossible for me to pull off. But would love such an opportunity. And yeah, it totally reminds me of the old Pragesstock’s I wanted to attend but didn’t.

Which Korg was it? I ended up with some old Roland controllers and a full weighted key keyboard that will act as a controller. All 90’s stuff. One of them is the same as in this dork video. I kinda looked like that as a young lawyer around the mid-90’s. Maybe slightly younger but about the...

I know you hate it but THIS IS THE WEIN NFL THREAD...'25-'26

Not boring to me. Defense and running game. Awesome! To me, run and gun offense dominant with not much defense games in football, AND basketball, soccer, any of those team put the ball in the net/endzone sort of sports are boring. Run and throw back and forth with no requirement to be very...

Was listening to a pod cast on old New Wave music and synth stuff, and for other reasons also, got interested in the computers of my youth, and now have a couple of old Macs and even an old Apple IIe, not the gs that was supposed to be better at music (and art production) in that line of Apple...

    We’ve lost Chad.

Oh man, I am late to this thread and this is awful! I really liked Chad and shared a lot of his taste in music, guitars, etc. Such a nice seeming guy. Dang it!
