I don't have pics of my actual cars, but here's the jist of it:

1989 Ford Ranger long bed. Mine was burgundy , 2wd, and I didn't have a tool box.

1993 Ford Explorer Sport. Again, mine was burgundy with a grey stripe on bottom, and had factory aluminum wheels:

1996 Plymouth Breeze. This one actually looks a lot like the one I had, only mine had some blue pin striping:

1996 (I think) Suzuki Esteem Wagon. Mine was electric blue. :embarrassed: I actually really liked this car, but we gave it to Mrs. P's brother so he'd move out of our house.

'79 Fiat Spider 2000 - slow but fun. Idiot proof top, unlike contemporary MGs. And it was actually pretty reliable.

'71 Opel GT - Hilarious fun. Like driving a lawn mower.

'76 Datsun 280Z - I loved this car and drove it for years. It was quick, fun, and bulletproof. If the right Z came along today I'd probably buy another.

280z.jpg

'87 Dodge Charger - Crushed during a thunderstorm by a falling tree. Best thing for it, really.

'83 Saab 900 Turbo - So wacky and odd it was impossible not to love it. I loved listening to the turbo spool up, and people always scratched their heads when they saw where the ignition was. Plus it could haul a lot of stuff.

'94 Honda Accord EX - I put a LOT of miles on this one.

'90 Porsche 944 S2 - My current car. It's a 20 year old car with a long list of little things that need to be fixed, but it's just lovely. It handles beautifully and it's quick enough to be really entertaining. Random strangers talk to me about it all the time, and just last week I had two people offer to buy it.

Oh yeah, it couldn't get out of its own way but it was one of those cars that was entertaining because you could drive at 9/10ths of its potential.

1986 Nissan Maxima
1976 Mercury Comet

1985 Jeep Wagoneer
1988 Honda Prelude si 4ws
2000 Honda Accord EX V6 Coupe (current)
2002 Toyota RAV4 (the wife's)

The Honda is nearing the end of it's usefulness for me. While it's fun and comfortable, it's not easy to get my 10 mo. old daughter in and out of it, and it's nearing the point in it's life where I'm either going to need to dump a bunch of money into it soon, or trade it in. I'm not sure what I should get next. I'm leaning towards the signature New England family guy car, the Subaru Outback.

My first car was a 73 Nova SS hatchback, then I bought a 69 Corvette 427 4 speed, 69 Barracuda with a 440 magnum including fender well headers, 68 Camaro SS 396 4 speed, 34 ford 5 window coupe with a 48 Merc Flathead in it, I then owned a 80 ford F250 4x4 with a 390 in it, during that time I owned 3 dune buggies, 2 dirt bikes and a couple of snow mobiles. This was all prior to going into the military in 1983. When I got out I had sold my buggies and toys except my Nova and Corvette. I got married and divorced and then had a relationship going with my current wife of 18 years and traded my Corvette in on a new 91 Chevy 4x4 truck so I had transportation to get back and forth to my good paying job to support our up and coming wedding and family. Since that time I bought a new truck every 2 years until about 5 years ago and now only buy low mileage used. I have pics of most everything I will have to scan them and put them up...buggies for Phil! I have built and raced go-karts (100+ mph) not toys, circle track cars on dirt and about anything else with wheels at least once. I can't help it I am a gear head, engineer, fabricator, welder....now father....below is my sons first car...what is left of it...this is after our accident a month ago. This was a nice Mustang from Florida with 70k on it.
Look through these....we are lucky to be alive.
