How does amp modeling sound on stage?

Rate this Entry
Recently i have been doing gigs with wierd backlines. I have great amps but sometimes they are heavy and inconvenient. i have been checking out Paul Pescos Line 6 rig. Do any of u guys have any of the modeling amps? and if you do how do they sound in a band situation?

The guy to ask here would be jaxn slim, and Scott powell, who both use POD HD 500's live.

Here are a couple of threads: http://markweinguitarlessons.com/for...46-HD500-Clips and http://markweinguitarlessons.com/for...odel-SWEEEEET!

One note about using the blogs is that I have to moderate them for a new entry to publish so if you want to post a blog just let meknow via a PM so I remember to look I'd love for more folks to use these but I'm afraid of the spammers using them for ads...

I agree with Mark. At Pragestock Jaxn used his rig exclusively. For me I am still a tradionalist.

I have used the Line 6 gear onstage. I found it best if all members could be on in ear monitors though. On a large stage with excellent fold back the Line 6 LIVE pedal or POD Pro work amazingly. On a small stage however hearing exactly what you want proves a bit difficult. My tonal bits anyway. Keep rockin.
