At first I thought it was a Gretsch when I saw the picture with that color. smi
Probably a pretty nice guitar. Finding an archtop for that kind of money that doesn't suck is pretty difficult....guitars from the Rhode Island era of Guild are usually pretty good.

I'm not very big on gold hardware, but it seems to work with that color and on that guitar. Plus you don't see a lot of those era Guilds around any more.
Noice!!!

The only reason I did was because I worked at a Fender dealer and we carried the Guild Line. The only guitars my boss kept in stock were the ones that were most like Les Pauls....

I never really got too excited about the ones we had. They always seemed kind of dead and harsh sounding to me.

i remember loving the sound, but not so much the neck. i dunno what it was, but i was in search of Louisville Sluggers then. but i never played one that sounded dead or harsh.

We only had 2 and they sat on the wall for nearly 2 years...possibly we got a couple of bad ones but these weren't very inspiring to play...

its because they had to come all the way from Rhode Island. they sent those as far away as possible.

Then what is Coronas excuse? Yorba Linda is an adjoining city :weebz:
