Barber Electronics Dual Discrete (LTD-->Direct Drive):
This is the all new Barber Custom Shop Dual Discrete. This model features Barber's 2 most popular drive pedals, the LTD (first in the signal path) and the Direct Drive (second), in a single housing. The enclosure measures 3.7" wide x 5.7" long x 1.77" tall. The package saves space on the width of your pedalboard and eliminates both a patch cable and a power supply cable. The ones we have are as pictured above, blue with white knobs for the LTD and gray knobs for the Direct Drive.
The Dual Discrete LTD features 3 external controls, Volume, Tone, and Gain, as well as 3 internal trim pots: Presence, Bass, and Midrange.
The Dual Discrete Direct Drive features 3 external controls, Volume, Tone, and Gain, as well as 5 internal trim pots: Note Shape, Harmonics, Bass, Midrange, and Presence.

Well that's a good idea. And it's priced high enough (higher than the dd and ltd separately) to not interfere with sales of either the LTD or the DD.

Its actually $100 more than the two individually. Just a really cool idea. I would love to down size my pedalboard and those tow pedals are indispensable to me...

I have the tone press. Probably if I was buying all over again, I would buy the ltd and dd. LTD, DD, Tone Press, and a decent amp is all you need. heavy-metal-044

I love my Barber Pedals....I haven't tried a Tone Press but I've heard nothing but good stuff about them. I have a Keeley Compressor that I barely use....

For any of the low gain, low volume, gigs I've done (mostly country) I'd just leave it on all the time and adjust the mix to get rid of the click. Perfection.

There are a ton of smaller pedalboards available now, I only use half of my pedals anymore and I'm not playing 150+ shows a year anymore so its time for me to downsize.

i want one of these:
http://www.sweetwater.com/images/closeup/750-PTMINISC_top.jpg
its a Pedaltrain Mini.
i figure i can fit a tuner, distortion, delay, and something else onto it. maybe even 5 pedals if i cram em on there. it'd certainly make rehearsals easier.

Outside of the tuner and the Ohh-Wah I don't know what most of that stuff is, although I can guess what they do...you have any live clips of your rig?

well, the Klon is an overpriced tubescreamer and the wah is an original spec crybaby. so i'm gonna say yes.

I don't use my wah very much (not at all this year since I broke mine :weebz:) but I would like something different a REALLY good if I replace it. I'm kind of tired of my Vox Clyde McCoy...

mod/fix the Vox then. another wah is just going to get tired after a while again.

there's really only two designs that everybody works off of, the vox and the crybaby. i mean, you can get into the Morley optical stuff, but i've never really dug it. so its not like you're missing out. its a bandpass filter with a pot that lets you sweep through the range. not exactly rocket science. you can even build one yourself:

Actually would be pretty fun...theres not too much that goes into a wah...

I just did the Whipple and Vocal mod, with input gain mod on my Vox Reissue 847.
It added about 200% more low end to it. It's got kind of a Alto-howl to it now. (if you can visualize it).....
(imagine you're trying to say the word "weird" "but you say "weee-Earrrrr" and leave off the "D"... O0
I'll bring it in Sat. and you can Test drive.

Oh and on the flighcase pedalboard, thats a negative ghost-rider (pattern is full)...
However, when my mojo increases I am sure you can already tell I am going to be that guy who needs a storage shed for all the crap I buy that I don't need.
(e.g. The Gold Tele that's arriving tomorrow.)

I'm sure everybody's tired of seeing it, but I really have no desire for a bigger pedalboard than my current one. I could probably move stuff around and fit one or two more pedals on there if I wanted to, but other than a tuner, I don't think theres another pedal that I really want.

hey Prages,
what are the two panel mount switches for ? Is that an off/on switch or for rack mount effects ?

Those are the switches that used to be on my amp's footswitch. One is the channel selector, the other turns the reverb on and off. Here's my old pedalboard before I 'prettied it up'. I just took the switches out of the stock amp footswitch and mounted them directly to the pedalboard.
