I'm officially tired of my little 2 watt micro cube...I'm planning on upgrading. I was thinking of 15 watts, something in the price range of 120-200$ (if possible)...Any suggestions? There was one I was looking at, is this any good?

My example to the contrary you don't need many pedals, you just need what works for you... :) :)

Yeah definitely...I can't wait to find out how the OS-2 goes with the Direct Drive...What's your favorite amp that you own?

Check out the Hughes and Kettner Edition Blue 15R. I got one for 50$ when they blew them out at Musicians friend. I bought it for my son but I ended up using it for a monitor after he decided to quit guitar.

I looked at some review and it's pretty much all positive...I don't think I can get it for 50 bucks but definitely 150 or less.

HI Jake

If you haven't bought an amp yet, the Marshall you mention is a good starter and even has great tone on most Chinese made import les pauls. I've heard them and they do make your guitar playing sound much better.

Here is some prices for Marshall these amps are made in Vietnam but they are Marshall and they rock.

MG10 CD about $100
MG15 CD about $130
CDR about $160
DFX about $190
MG30 DFX about $270 if you can afford this one buy it buy it you probably won't be at all
disappointed

these prices are in Japan

good luck, I like Marshall amps, they rock

Here are a couple of suggestions that are not within your specifications, but which you might really enjoy:

1. Silver Face Fender Bronco/Champ/Vibro Champ. 5-watt tube amp, which could be with you for life. These are great little amps, and, if you avoid eBay and look patiently, you can probably find one of these within your price range. I got my Bronco for $60, and it cost me $100 to have the tube tech put it into top condition. This is probably the only practice amp I'll ever care to own.

2. New Fender Vibro Champ XD. These are a little above your price range, but they are really cool amps. You might be able to pick up a used one for less than $200, if you wait patiently.

3. Used Epiphone Valve Jr. & Cabinet. These sometimes sell for less than $200 used, and they are certainly available. Example: http://atlanta.craigslist.org/msg/862252043.html

4. Fender Deluxe 112. This is a 60-watt solid state amp, and I bought one at a pawn shop when I was a poor college student. I think I paid $115 for the amp, and I recall that it had a really nice clean tone and a great reverb.

5. Vox Valvetronix AD30VT. This is a 30-watt solid state modeling amp, and people seem to love them to death. You can get one in your price range: http://cgi.ebay.com/Vox-Valvetronix-AD30VT-30w-1x10-Guitar-Combo-Amp_W0QQitemZ330277526162QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item3 30277526162&_trkparms=72%3A1417|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A13 18&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

just to throw another in the mix, i have been quite impressed with the solid state Kustom amps, with the celestion speakers. My friend has one, i have played through it and it sounds very fat and warm for what it is.
