My StepDad back in Louisville works for Sikkens auto refinishers. They are a paint company.
Anyway, for the last 20+ years he has been rebuilding and collecting Classic Mopars. Here is the one he gave my mom for their 10 yr. anniversary last year.
She drove it up to Ohio to the Mopar Nationals last year and won 3rd place in the 90% class (90% OEM.)
It's a 1971 Cuda...
He also has 1969 roadrunner, 1970 Cuda, 1966 Fury, 1968 Demon (750HP Blown BigBlock), and recently a 1969 Super Bird. Every one of them has been meticulously redone except for the Fury, the Super Bird and the other Cuda, of which the Cuda is currently in the Paint Booth..

That's one hell of an anniversary gift!!!
Me and Mrs. P are coming up on our 10 year pretty soon. Somehow I doubt she'll be getting a '71 Cuda or anything equivalent though. biggrin

That's a really, really nice Mopar.
Kudos for restoring a great example of classic Americana. AOK
Any pics of the Superbird by chance? Given the choice to own any muscle car, that'd be the one I'd choose. Dude00

Mom's supposed to email me the pics of the Demon and the Roadrunner . Those are the most photographed as they go to the MO-Nats every year with those to compete.
As for the Yellow Cuda, it's mothballed for now. Mom is considering putting it back into rotation and selling it. They have a "General-Lee orange" 70 Cuba that's in the booth getting stripped right now. Bead-blasting the chassis, rewelding rear-end for coil over, and spraying it orange candy.
Plus Dave, my step-dad has an old 65 Van that's got the Dodge Van front end, but a truck bed on the back. Don't know the model, but he wants to tub it and set it up for 1/8 mile.
I'll post the pics of the Road Runner, the Superbird, and the other Cuda when she sends them over. Oh, and the Demon, that thing is just out of control. It's bright yellow too and has the frackin Blower sticking up. IT's menacing. 750HP !

I'll eagerly anticipate the Superbird pics.
I just saw an episode of The American Muscle Car on Speed this weekend that featured the Roadrunner. Of course they talked about the Superbird. It made me all tingly....down there. What I wouldn't give for one of those. drool0

That top one, is that superbird or superbee? I seem to remember a super bee, and the superbird was the pointy nosed thing with the high wing.
Im not up on teh dodge stuff, i was a GM dude. biggrin

The Superbird or whatever (I also thought they were the pointy nose, high wing variety) has a WV inspection sticker. :weebz:

sorry, did I say bird ? I meant SuperBee.
I was having a craving for Denny's...
Note the SuperBee emblem between the grill....Alas, it's in pieces right now being refinished.
