So picture the sound a cable makes when plugging it in.
That buzz sound, then all is quiet. Well, after my gear is plugged in etc, I have an intermittent buzz coming from the amp, kind of like a squelch type of sound.
So, there's a ground switch on the back of the amp, it has a + / - and 0 on it. Anyway, I have found I can remedy the buzz by toggling the gnd. switch to a different position, but I am curious as to what causes it anyway ?
I mean, I can plug up, play for 15 mins, roll my volume control on my Strat down to zero, place my guitar in the stand, and it can sit there some times, for like 30 minutes, no noise, other times after 5-10 minutes, it just starts.
Any ideas ?
