Thats a pretty bad video. Not really any good ones online.
I have a Rotovibe that I bought in the mid 1990's. I just don't like adjusting the treadle for the speed and when you turn it off and on you never have a "set" effect. Mine is really too beat up to sell at this point, too....

you could put it in a TB loop and just leave it on all the time. that also cures the tone suck of the horrid bypass.

Or I could get a rotary sound out of a pedal that I like and use less pedalboard real estate at the same time.

Of course you could. But then you lose the function of the expression pedal. And adding an exprerssion pedal to a pedal you like more takes up the same real estate anyway.

but I never use the expression pedal on that thing anyway.
Shit, I'm usually singing and not using effects like that anymore anyway.

that's the cool part about writing original music. i can program the sound changes in when its convenient for me.
