Quick question which will hopefully answer questions for other players searching for a guitar. Hopefully the answers to this will help other future guitar purchasers.
Can amps make a guitar sound better than it accually is?
Hypothetical:
You are in guitar center and you plug in 2008 Les Paul $200 into a Marshall Amp 100W 300$ then you plug in a 2008 Les Paul $2000 into the same amp. They will sound mostly the same. So why is it that the $2000 Les Paul is better considered better because of the price than the $200 Les Paul when they sound the same?
What should others be looking for if amps are decieving? Can you hear a difference in the amp?
