Make N Music Description: The S-24 DT Disc Front is probably one of Tony Zemaitis' best known models! Made famous by players like Ronnie Wood from the Faces & Rolling Stones and Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes. Like the other Custom Shop Zemaitis guitars it is also completely hand-made with the following features: Elaborately, hand-engraved artwork designed by Danny O'Brien that covers the Metal Top, truss rod cover, ''Z'' emblem, pickup rings, switch surround and tailpiece. Finished like the originals in a very thin, Black Satin lacquer over Mahogany body and neck (this is not a thick, smooth or high-gloss finish. It's lovingly hand-applied) 8lbs even Amazingly playable and great sounding too. The last Zemaitis I saw on e-bay was listed at $79,000!!! This one has a much more friendly price. Call for more complete details. Teddy Gordon- Make'n Music 312.455.1970

"Call for price!" always scares me  smi

The more I think about the control layout the less it bothers me...it would be different and I don't really know how much I would bother with 3 tone controls but they do get everything out of the way of your right hand.

I've never played a Zemaitis but they seem to have a good reputation...I wouldn't mind at least giving it a spin even though its not really how I would personally design a guitar.

Have you ever tried a James Trussart guitar?

Another of those "how can that really sound good"? guitars but they actually are pretty cool for what they are....

call for price just means they can't advertise it.

it's a good looking guitar...but for me....zemaitis and others like them are more works of art than players....

I've just never been able to get into the Zemaitis stuff. I mean, I can appreciate the level of craftsmanship that goes into them, but they just don't appeal to me at all. idn_smilie
