Hi Jake, I see you are looking to start a rock band. Well, good luck to you. Wish you much success. If you start the band, try to take a lead position as to choosing the members. One of the easiest ways to get new members is for you to find the best singer you can find. Others will join much sooner if there is a singer (true) beside you. Having a singer gets the band going so much quicker. Well again good luck. :)

Back in the early 80s, I had a band called "Armed and Ready". We did a Schenker tune or 2. biggrin Also remember that being reliable is 90% of the battle. Given that, the last 10% will come with a little time.

I'm jealous...What do you mean exactly by being reliable? Like showing up on time, ect. right?

yes, and at least have run through the tunes a time or 2 before practice. Be prepared. I knew a guy that would show up 15 minutes before a gig and come running in and say "hurry up you guys, come and help me get my drums"
