YouTube - Barber Electronics DUAL DISCRETE custom built pedal w/ LTD and LTD SR

The B-Custom Dual Discrete is the ultimate in customized highly tweakable dual overdrive pedals:
This baby is all about choices, choose between three enclosure colors, choose your knobs (you can mix colors with knobs), then choose any two of our "three knob" overdrive units (Direct Drive Super Sport, Tone Pump (http://www.barberelectronics.com/tonepumpEQ.htm), LTD (http://www.barberelectronics.com/LTDv2.html), LTD SR (http://www.barberelectronics.com/LTD_SR.html), Direct Drive LG (http://www.barberelectronics.com/custom%20shop/directdrive_LG.html)). If you want the ultimate buffered bypass, look no further than the B-Buff (http://www.barberelectronics.com/B-Buff.html). Ronni builds each Dual Discrete Drive by hand and to your specs in the B-Custom shop

This dual format saves space on pedalboards, uses one less cable than two pedal (better tone), and Ronni adds in extra controls on many of the circuits to make them more tweakable (like mids, or note shape). Measures only 3.7"x5.7"x1.5".

Price is only $349.95 with true bypass!

It is too much money. Its strange that you have to spend as much or more for them to stick two of the same pedals in ONE box.

EDIT: now that I think about it it is a custom order item, but the price does kind of turn me off...the idea is pretty cool, though. I'd love to have a Direct Drive SS/Tone Press....or a dirty bomb...

both of my custom pedals have been $150. the most expensive dirt i've ever bought was the Foxrox ZIM, which was $260. and even then, he gave me two extra circuits to mess with.

I think that the Keeley Compressor was my most expensive pedal (that I currently use). It was $220 IIRC

A similar idea to the Jekyl/Hyde pedal - but smaller (good) and customizable (very good). I like everything but the price, but I understand that they are all custom one off pedals. But it's still expensive....

The most expensive pedal I bought is a Fulltone '70 fuzz. That cost me 170, and someone will probably tell me I coulda got it cheaper. The Expandora was 140, and my Tone Press was 138. I actually though about dropping 270 on a Pigtronix ADSR Attack/Sustain, but not after trying it out. It's not that it didn't sound good, but the thing wasx not an intuitive pedal to learn. The manual was 1/8 inch thick, and some of the settings listed in there were not all that good.
